Simple enough for anyone at the gate.

1

Unlock the terminal

Staff access the checkout on any phone, tablet, or PC through a standard web browser. A simple shared access code keeps the terminal secure.

2

Find the exhibitor

Search by exhibitor number or name. Results appear instantly as you type, even with hundreds of entries in the system.

3

See their allocation

Each ticket type is listed with how many have already been collected. There's no guesswork about what's outstanding.

4

Issue with one tap

Hit "Issue all remaining" to hand everything over at once, or adjust the quantity per type if only some are being collected now.

5

Confirmation chime

A success chime plays when tickets are issued. If something isn't right, a distinct alert sounds so staff know immediately.

6

Everything is recorded

Every issuance is logged automatically with the time, terminal name, and quantity. Nothing needs to be written down manually.

Designed for pressure.

Works on any device

The terminal runs in a web browser, so there's nothing to install. Use it on the phones and tablets your team already own. Touch targets are large enough to use quickly even in busy conditions.

No app download needed. Open a browser and go.

Safe to run on multiple terminals

Any number of staff can be issuing tickets at the same time without any risk of conflict. The system prevents any exhibitor from receiving more than their allocation, even if two terminals process the same person simultaneously.

All terminals live simultaneously. No conflicts.

See exactly what's already been issued

Before issuing anything, staff can see the full history for that exhibitor: what was collected, when, and from which terminal. No more uncertainty about whether tickets have already been handed out earlier in the day.

Notes on exhibitor records

Important information about an exhibitor can be added as a note and will appear on their record every time they're looked up. Useful for flagging anything staff need to be aware of at the point of collection.

Note

Exhibitor has two vehicles on site. Second vehicle is a trailer, check both are registered before issuing full allocation.

Awaiting confirmation of late entry. Do not issue without organiser approval.

Message section managers via Telegram

Need to ask the Steam section manager something without leaving the gate? Staff can send a free-text message directly to the relevant section manager from the checkout terminal. The message arrives instantly in their Telegram chat.

Tom Harris (#42) is here asking about his second vehicle, can you confirm it's been registered?
Yes, confirmed. Go ahead and issue the full allocation.

Audio feedback at the gate

A clear chime plays when tickets are successfully issued. A distinct alert sounds if something isn't right, such as an exhibitor's allocation already being fully collected. Staff get instant feedback without needing to read the screen.
